Jordan’s Top 10 TV Series of 2013

TV. I watch too much of it. My list of shows is continually growing and I hate falling behind because what if Mike Nicholson goes and spoils something for me on Twitter? While that may make me a real life Abed, constantly relating real life to fiction (okay I’m not THAT bad) it does mean that I am adequately researched for a countdown of the Top 10 TV Series of 2013! Got a few rules for this one due to the fickle nature of TV. These are shows that aired new episodes anywhere in the world in 2013, I’m not going by what has aired in Australia but the US and the UK as well. Shows have to have aired a full or half-season in 2013, discounting 30 Rock and Fringe which only aired their final 3 episodes last January. And finally after years of struggling where to place Survivor, I’ve decided the countdown is just for fiction. I love Survivor religiously, but it’s difficult to decide how to rank it, so reality is out. Anyway, here we go folks!

Jordan’s Top 10 Films of 2013

It’s new years eve! Which means it’s naturally time to look back on the year that has been, and while we could all get sentimental about the life lessons we’ve learned what you really want to know is, what are the amazing films you’ve missed out on this year? Well, behold, my top 10 films of 2013! Just an idea of the criteria, this is a list of the top 10 films released in Australia in 2013. That means some films that had earlier international premieres but only came out here this year are on the list, just as some films that have already launched in the US like Her and 12 Years A Slave aren’t eligible (especially seen as I haven’t seen them yet.) But without further ado, here is my top 10 (as well as some honorable and dishonorable mentions…)
